Game Cover - Vocal Warrior ~Hiyah!!~

I designed this game cover for our sound project. We have to make a game but only the sounds, FX and stuff...no graphics. Well, it's a sound class, what do you expect. Theres's actually graphics but just the game cover.

The concept of our game is to use your voice to control your character and do other stuff too. It's actually a fighting game where you have to shout the moves like kicking, punching and do combos. I don't know how you really play it in real. We didn't really thought about the reality of this game, we just had fun with it. All of the other groups in our class had some insane concepts too. We listened and had a good laughed.I used Adobe photoshop and Illustrator

This is one of my assignment in DMA class. All we have to do is to draw a character and trace it and just have fun with it. For no reason, I named him yakyak..XD It does fit him the name though. hhhmmm...

This is the sketch...I wish I can draw better...Time to get enrolled for drawing class!! XD

Skate Design

This is the final product of my skate deck. I used Illustrator all the way to make this. Lots of gradients. The design is a cat with just the big eyeball as the cat's face. It's a human-like cat. I initally designed it as a swat. I was thinking of a swat cat, it's a old cartoon show I watched long time ago on Cartoon Network. I don't know if they still air it today.

This is the sketch. As you can see, it doesn't look the same with the final design. The cat looks boring when I put it in center. So I just moved the cat to the right and made it bigger. It cut off some of the design but it's ok since it looked better than in center.

This is the first sketch I drew. You can see the cat face symbol. I traced it and changed the shape a little bit and put it on the cat's chest. In the end, I really liked the colour combination of the green and black and also the flames luckily matches with the colour green background.

Tattoo Design

This is my tattoo design. It's a letter "M" taken from the first letter of my name and has an angel wings on it. I always like to do this concept of design. For some reason, I like angels and their unique wings are the easiest way to represent them. I also put some flames so it looked like the wings are burning.

I used this sketch as my starting point. The final product is not really exactly the same as my sketch. The sketch is just a concept. I searched some wings on the internet and I found a wing layout from some cross-stitch site. I traced one side and just flipped the other side and attached them on the letter "M". The only thing I used on my sketch is the flames.

I experimented on coloring it but I only got up to here. Didn't really planned to colour it in the first place. I just used a gradient and use the colour red and yellow as you can see it. I searched for tutorials on how to make a realistic flames but didn't push through with it. I'll find some time to finish colouring it in the future.

Pictures I took from one of the buildings in Seneca College where I study. The building interior is so cool! It's very clean and so white. As you can see in the pictures, there's lots of space to walk around. Only fews chairs and furnitures. Overall, it's very well designed

Taking a different route to school

Since it was Friday and my class starts at 12.30pm. I decided to take another route to go to Seneca. I had to change a bit of my time on Friday and woke up early different from usual Fridays I had. Woke up around 8am and prepared to go.I also didn't bring my Mac that day since I had many things to bring for Friday's class. My bag was more lighter and i was more comfortable walking to the bus station and waited for Bus 11. Bus 11 goes to Kipling station and there where I get on the subway.Usually I take Bus 22 to Humbercollege Blvd. and ride another bus to finch station, stop at Sentinel long before the finch station. Ride another bus for York University. Total of 3 buses which takes me about 1 hr and 30mins maximum depending on the traffic.
On friday, I took the subway this time. I got on the train starting from Islington station. They were few people this time so I got to sit anywhere I want. I rode the train to St. George station. They were many stops but it didn't mind me since I wasn't in a hurry. It was a joyride for me since I don't take the subway everyday.Actually I only ride the subway often when I go to downtown. That's like twice a months maybe. I am not very familiar with the stations, so I look at every signs so I know where to go. I made it to St. George safely and transfered to a north bound route to Downsview. The north bound stations are pretty new. They were a lot bigger and spacious. You can also noticed the design were more Hi-tech than older stations downtown. The last stop was Downsview. I went to the bus station and waited for Bus 196 to York University. Didn't wait that long since they have an Express bus to York. I like Express Busses because they don't stop a lot so I arrived at Seneca more in no time. The trip took me about 1 hr from my home to Seneca. It's more fast taking the subway than my normal route so I guess I have to think about riding the subway instead.
